Be sure to stress to your visitors the importance of conserving power and water while they enjoy their stay at your rental location. Also, you may want to think about hiring a landscaping crew to take care of the exterior of your home on a regular basis.

Deciding to rent out your vacation home will definitely lighten the load of expenses that will come with the purchase. True, there are many expenses to think about, but once you sit down and budget everything, it will all fall into place. Just be sure to set your rates to a point where you are bringing in enough to cover the costs of owning the second property.
