Many people choose to photograph their vacation rental themselves, but you would prefer to have a more professional touch, it is acceptable to hire a photographer to capture your vacation rental. Besides, if your photos are too dark or blurry, it will be hard for your potential guests to really see the true look of your vacation rental, and your photos are like a first impression. If you need your pictures updated or taken for the first time and will not be able to get to your vacation rental for a few weeks or months, you need to consider hiring someone to photograph it. Photography has different areas, and just because someone can take amazing portraits doesn’t mean they are qualified to photograph your vacation rental.

Ask them if they will be staging the home or if any photo editing is included in the fees. Fully discuss the kind of shots you are wanting, and if at all possible, be present for the photo shoot.
