This museum has exhibitions that range from prehistoric to present day times in Russia, and holds some priceless works of art that were acquired by the Romanovs. There are actually several million different objects that are held in the museum, which is one of the largest in the world.
Of course, there is also a thriving performing arts culture in Moscow, which include both ballet and film. There are actually 93 different theaters, 132 cinemas, and 24 concert halls in Moscow alone. Some of the more well known include the Bolshoi Theater, the Malyi Theater, the Vakhtangov Theater, and Moscow Art Theater.
