Have just come back from a special vacation to Phuket, stayed at West of Eden in the northwestern part which is less busy than southwestern areas, superior hotel and great beaches. We rented a jeep for only 500 baht per day and would drive around the total region. So many great sites to eat, our loved restaurant was Thai Food Heaven which had the most terrific view over the beach, the staff was really nice and the food so delicious, we went for sunset cocktails. My wife and I had a wonderful time in Phuket Town and will be back for New Year.

It’s the exact same way when I go home to Trinidad and Tobago. Tons and tons of bugs…ewww! I recommend wearing capris so that way most of your legs are covered and I either wore 3/4 sleeve tops or t-shirts.
