Weather

Playa Blanca´s growing popularity can be attributed to a number of factors but the most salient is the resorts’ microclimate.  As Playa Blanca is located in the south of the island – delivering better wearth than any other location on Lanzarote.  A factor which is obviously of paramount importance to anyone planning a holiday on the island.

This is even more notable in the winter months – when they’re can be a marked difference in weather conditions between the North and south of the island.

Location

Playa Blanca has long been the gateway to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.  Acting as a conduit for traffic between the two via ferries that regularly leave from the port in the centre of the town.  And at night, the shimmering lights across the water create an atmospheric backdrop for anyone enjoying a meal or walk under the stars.

Playa Blanca is well known for its good quality hotels.  But it is also the resort which offers the best selection of holiday villas in Lanzarote too.  Thousands of overseas investors have snapped up property in and around Playa Blanca for holiday rental use.  Creating plenty of competition and ensuring reasonable rates for visitors.  With a week in a villa with private pool starting from little as €350.
