Singapore is only about 655 square kilometers in area; it is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. It maybe small but packs quite a punch!
I think one of the most exciting tropical oceanarium is the Underwater World, in which we are given the chance to admire the amazing sea lives from this part of the world together with endangered underwater animals. With this place, I have the chance to see the different ocean creatures which have captivated me. Good thing is that I do not need to dive into the water and get myself wet. I believed that the main attraction is DUGONG, which is a sea cow that entertains visitors with its acrobatic movements. Every one of us has the chance to interact with Dugong from series of feeding and training sessions. And I was able to find out its natural abilities of tail-walking synchronization.
For me, it is a dream come true to be in a whole different world beneath the seas. We can surely expect such fun- filled experience through the many interactive and interesting exhibits. Well getting up close to marine life is not something we do everyday. There are many of us who have never tried feeding the stingrays and touching the small fearsome sharks. Isn’t it challenging? You can sign up with the dive and swim programs. And you don’t have to be a certified scuba diver to participate in these programs. You will need between 45 to 90 minutes if you wish to participate in the dive and swim programs.
The Underwater World is situated in Sentosa. Even if you don’t have time to see the rest of Sentosa Island, you mustn’t miss the Underwater World. Next time you travel to Asia, don’t miss the Underwater World! It is really great to be in Underwater World Singapore. Definitely a must-see!
