A lovely recently restored stone farmhouse in Black Perigord (Dordogne-Southern France)with its private saltwater pool.Set in a quiet hamlet and well equipped,its comfort and privacy can't but make your stay truly enjoyable.Set in Black Périgord,near the impressive medieval castle of Hautefort,30-40 minutes away from the world wide known Lascaux caves,the Vézère and Dordogne Valleys,the famous medieval town of Sarlat,we welcome you in our gite and we'll do our best to make your stay relaxing and unforgettable.It's rated 4**** and easily accessible by Ryanair ( 1 hour drive from Limoges or Bergerac)or by British Airways,Air Lingus (2 hours drive from Bordeaux or Toulouse.)Its exposed beams,oak doors,windows,shutters and stairs,tiled floors,partly exposed stone walls,make it very attractive and authentic.Downstairs,the main room with its fully equipped open plan kitchen,overlooks a large covered terrace,a close garden and the totally safe pool,with a nice open view around.Next,a double room(queensize bed)and its bathroom and toilets.Upstairs,3 bedrooms:1 double,1 twin-bedded with a cot,1 three-bedded,all with local style furniture.1 bathroom and independent toilets.In the corridor,a reading corner with games and books (English and French)

The French owner lives nearby, speaks fluent English and can help whenever needed.

BBQ(charcoal and plancha),built in vacuum cleaning,large parking,outdoor games,badminton,tabletennis.A covered outside spa will be available in 2009.

The large covered terrace is cool in summer,overlooks the lawn ( with swings)and is very private.Pleasant for meals (large oak table with padded seats)and to watch the kids in the pool!You can sunbathe on the sunny pool terrace or the sunbeds.The pool (10x5)is safely fenced and a secured gate permits access.Roman steps make it handy for kids.
