The property is situated in Clecy, the capital of the Suisse Normande, region of Normandy. Set in a hamlet at the end of a quite lane, the house has spectacular views of the valley and yet the property is only one mile from the direct road south of Caen with its ferry teminal of Ouistreham. Recrational and leisure facilities are excellent with sandy beaches only 45 minute drive away. The gite called "the Garden House was built about 10 years ago of local stone and is set in wooded gardens with its own sun terrace and barbeque. All the equipment and furnishings are of the highest standard.

The suisse normande, with its hills, gorges and rivers is popular with walkers, fishermen, climbers, canoeists alike, parapenting, golfing... The property is also surrended by miles of cycles tracks.
