The villa is placed in Ardea an acropolis of deep archeological interest, a millenary history,at only 5 kilometres from the beach, golf club, . It's oldest part has already given many archeological treasures dating back to the IV and V centuries before Christ. More modern masterpieces are instead houses in Manzu's museum where tourists can admire 465 works of the famed sculptor. Outside the town we find the Guard of St. Lawrence called by pirates "the Magnificent" for its beauty; perhaps it was designed by Michelangelo. Worth a visit is also "La Landriana" a wide estate landscaped by the famous English architect Russel Page who divided it into 40 separate green rooms full of coloured flowers.

Ardea is situated at only 30 minutes by car from Rome and offers some good connecting services to the capital and other important centres of the coast. The airports Fiumicino and Ciampino are at only 30 minutes by car and the national and international railway stations can be reached easily through the junctions of Campo di Carne and Aprilia situated at just 5 minutes from San Lorenzo. The two-lanes expressway (ss148) allows the tourist to take the Great Orbital Road and to go to Roma by bus in less than 30 minutes. There is also an efficient local bus service which covers the whole territory
