The area offers a real possibility of enjoying a wonderful holiday. the house is near Santa Caterina di Nard?, the smartest and most exclusive resort on the Ionian coast. The coastline is an alternation of low rocks, small sand shores, peeble shores and long beaches. The sea is low and warm near the beaches, it's blue, cristalline and deep near the rocky coast, the ideal sea for scuba diving.



A paradise for people of all ages and all pockets, as the coast is mostly open to free bathing, though there are many bathing establishments. Next to Santa Caterina There is Posto Selvaggio, a natural reserve containing a large pine wood along the sea and a small splendid cove which can be reached only walking down through the wood or from the sea. In the same area pre-historic remains can be found, the most important are in the Uluzzo Bay, which has given the name to the Uluzzian period in The upper Paleolithic.
