The villa, situated in a residential district, far from traffic and noise, at the same time is only km 1,5 far from the wonderful resorts of Santa Caterina and Porto Selvaggio, km.15 from Gallipoli, Km 22 from Lecce and km 30 from the nearest golf course. It is made up of a living room (2 sleeps: as the house has 2 entrances, the living room can become a fourth independent bedroom), three climatized bedrooms (8 sleeps, mosquito nets), dining kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers, and is surrounded by a large shadowed garden (sqm 400.00), equipped with tables, chairs, sun beds, table football, 2 outside showers (one hot-cold), barbecue. The furniture is complete, the kitchen is equipped in the smallest details, e.g. microwave, toaster, mixer, coffee grinder. There are also two tvcolor, a cd player, a DVD player, hairdryer, iron and iron board, washing machine. From € 400 to € 2000/week - charges included for water and gas, according to consumption for rlrctricity -linen on call-guarantee deposit for damage from € 200, for final cleaning from € 70 - a 10% discount is applied on the weeks following the first one- discounts are applied for fewer than 8 people and an overcharge for more.



The area offers a real possibility of enjoying a wonderful holiday. the house is near Santa Caterina di Nard?, the smartest and most exclusive resort on the Ionian coast. The coastline is an alternation of low rocks, small sand shores, peeble shores and long beaches. The sea is low and warm near the beaches, it's blue, cristalline and deep near the rocky coast, the ideal sea for scuba diving.



A paradise for people of all ages and all pockets, as the coast is mostly open to free bathing, though there are many bathing establishments. Next to Santa Caterina There is Posto Selvaggio, a natural reserve containing a large pine wood along the sea and a small splendid cove which can be reached only walking down through the wood or from the sea. In the same area pre-historic remains can be found, the most important are in the Uluzzo Bay, which has given the name to the Uluzzian period in The upper Paleolithic. Other important sea resort is Gallipoli, km 16 far. The summer is the season of festivals and concerts, besides the many discos, restaurants, pubs and pizza houses which offer a large range of amusement possibilities.

Every evening you can choose among the various offers: sagras of wine and local foods, celebrations of Saints with symphonic music, corners in town and near the sea where Pizzica (an ancient very sensual dance typical of the area) is danced by folk groups and passers-by.

Very important are the celebrations of the "Taranta Nights”, in which ancient rites evoke the spell caused by spyder bites, during which people affected by Tarantism danced frantically under a trance.



The nearest town is Nard?. It's an ancient town of 32,000 inhabitants, very rich in churches, palaces and historical buildings of different architectural periods, especially baroque. It's also a modern town, with all that can be needed in the different fields (refined shops, exclusive boutiques, supermarkets, discounts, cinema, theatre, pharmacies, hospital, post offices, etc.). the head town in the county is Lecce, worldwide known for its cultural life and for its baroque.
