The Central Senegal / Petite-Cote region The point of departure for a lot of excursions to discover Senegal : nature reserve of Bandia, Gorée island, Joal-Fadiout, Sine Saloum islands, the "Lac rose" an astonishing pink lake, Casamance, Djoudj and Niokolo-Koba nationals natural parks, and more. Among the most typical : Gorée is best known as the location of the House of Slaves and famous as a former center of the Atlantic slave trade from where many Black slaves were deported to the Americas. It is now a popular tourist destination referenced by UNESCO. (80 km from Somone) Joal-Fadiout is a village at the southern end of the Petite Côte of Senegal. Joal lies on the mainland, while Fadiout, linked by a bridge, lies on an island of clam shells, which are also used in local architecture and crafts. The village has no motorised transport. It has large Christian and Muslim populations with cemeteries on another shell island. Another attraction is granaries on stilts in the water. (50 km from Somone)

- a fully equipped house, sheets and towels,

- maid service for cooking, cleaning, ironing 6 days/week
