Ski chalet Carmel is sitting within a sheltered area situated on the very edge of a picturesque village (please look at the photos provided) at the foot of Rila Mountain and next to a fast floating river.

This summer and winter holiday retreat is in a semi-rural position with far reaching and uninterrupted views of mountain peaks of 2500m above the sea level.

The chalet is an impressive and very well presented one.

The property features a wealth of charm and character combined with numerous external features like a stream running through the whole grounds length, pond with fountain, water well, wine cellar with outstanding rustic tavern for your late party evenings, 4 person sauna from Finland, 4-6 person hot tub/Jacuzzi, ski fitness room/Gym (2 different ski training machines, trampoline, weights training)

Please note: All of these features are private. They are inside the ground of the chalet and are not shared by anybody else.

The property features a pond with fountain which becomes ice fountain in the winter and a water well coming from the massive stone wall surrounding the whole of the property and also barbeque area for 15 people with open fire place. Everything is in a rural location but at the same time very close to 3 ski area (Borovets, Maliovitsa and Govedarci.) Usually Borovets closes for the end of season last from the ski resorts in Bulgaria.Bansko and Pamporovo closed end of March this year -Borovets ended the season at the end of April and still has plenty of snow. And the season begun the earliest from BG resorts and was the most reliable during the winter.

Back to the villa: The ski chalet is next to the main paths for hiking and mountaineering up the highest mountain in Bulgaria and in the southeast of Europe. Water sports are 20 min away (on the biggest lake in Bulgaria), fishing -2min (the local river in particular is quite abundant with fish and permits are available during fishing season), mineral spa centre-20min (summer season), golf 35-45 min (more in construction).

The chalet itself is situated in a prominent place and occupying a premier sheltered position, deep inside the ground but in the best spot for these important views up the snowy capped mountain peaks.



Inside the Ski Chalet the rooms are with exposed timbers and vaulted ceilings betraying its origins. There is a very important, covered south facing balcony to fully appreciate the surrounding views and catch the winter sun rays.

For your comfort, there is a fully fitted kitchen, also 3 wood burning log fire places, satellite TV, CD, DVD with good selection of films, 2 TV sets, and safety box.

This delightful chalet offers charming living accommodation for 15 people on 3 floors and 4 bathrooms with showers and is very attractive and versatile.

In the winter, the chalet is fully heated for your comfort.

Note: STRICTLY NON SMOKING policy on the premises and in the provided vehicles all year round!

FOR WINTER SEASON 2007/2008-2 trips to Borovets PER DAY are included in the price.

Summer price could include only airport transfers.

Bed and Breakfast can be arranged.

6 Mountain bikes on site for hire.

Deposit of 40 % is payable with the booking. 8 weeks prior to departure- the final payment is due.

There is a damage deposit of 220 pounds which has to be paid on arrival in cash and will be refunded at the end of your stay providing there is no damage or missing items.

CD info-pack with each booking made by paying the deposit , will be send with all the info you will need about the exact area, recommended establishments to eat there, services around that specific magical place etc.

-AIRPORT TRANSFERS,

-2 TRIPS TO THE SKI SLOPES PER DAY,

-SAUNA (ON SITE),

-HOT TUB/JACUZZI (ON SITE),

-GYM/SKI FITNESS ROOM (ON SITE),

-FREE USE OF THE TAVERN AND ALL THE FACILITIES OF THE SKI CHALET.



NOTE:

IF 7-10 PEOPLE BOOKING AS A GROUP THERE IS ONE EXTRA CHARGE OF 200 EUROS PER WEEK AND PER GROUP.

For dates outside winter months, the price does not include trips and airport transfers. Only the full use of the villa, bed linen, free use of the kitchen, all of the facilities in the villa tavern, trampoline and one hour per day use of hot tub and sauna arranged in advance and daily.

Airport transfers can be arranged at very low and competitive price. Please ask for quote.

Some peak weeks (HIGH SEASON-winter and summer) still available, so make an enquiry ASAP to avoid disappointment.
