Quiet and large beach front property with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean, conveniently located between the main town of the Island, Governor's Harbour, and James Cistern, on the Island of Eleuthera. Governor's Harbour is about 15 minutes away by car, James Cistern approx. 5 minutes. Villa Atlantic Sunrise is ideal for 2 couples (4 persons) or a family with 1 or 2 children, for everybody who likes the feeling of privacy in a quiet and beautiful ocean and beach landscape. Help and assistance is close if needed, but you will not be disturbed if you don't want to.

The house has no air conditioning, but due to its ocean front location, there is normally a good breeze from the ocean side, sometimes also from the Caribbean side. The house is constructed in such way, that there is always a nice breeze going through the rooms. In addition, all rooms are equipped with ceiling fans for further air circulation.



There is no TV. Bring your notebook to watch DVDs and check your e-mails in town. Telephone and internet are, as a rule, not provided. However, in Governor's Harbour you can visist the Haynes Library which provides computers with high speed internet access or wireless to use your own laptop. Should you not bring a cell phone with you, the next public phone is located at the airport, GHB, about 5 minutes to drive.

From the bedrooms, the living room and the ocean front porch you have a nice view on the Atlantic Ocean and miles of beautiful pink sanded beach, ideal for walks. Should you prefer to stay in bed a little bit longer, you can watch the sunrise directly from your bed.



The spacious house (approx. 2600 sqft) has two bedrooms (master and guest bedroom, both with a view to the Atlantic and the beach front), 2 bathrooms (each with a shower, 2 sinks, and toilet), an open kitchen with bar counter and a large living room area, a large ocean front porch and a smaller backside porch with view on palm trees. The complete house is tiled with terracotta style tiles.



The living room is equipped with a teak wood dining table with five chairs, which can also be used outside on the ocean front porch, and a rattan couch set (1 three and 1 two seater, and arm chair, 1 main and 2 side tables) and a rocking chair. Sitting there you have a direct view to the front porch, the front garden planted with palm trees and the Atlantic Ocean. Palm trees in the garden also provide you with shade if you like to place your launching chair underneath.



The master bedroom is equipped with a large closet section and a king size bed.



The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and a smaller closet section. Towels and bed sheets are provided, washing machine is available.







There is large kitchen area with a bar section. The kitchen is fully equipped (fridge with deep freezer, modern stove with ceramic stove top, coffee machine, blender, toaster, microwave, ice crasher, shaker, pots and pans of different sizes etc.) and the kitchen and bar counter tops are covered with small French style ceramic tiles



The ocean front porch is ideal for watching watching the sunrise, the sea, or the stars and the moon at night. It is roofed to permit you to sit there in the shade also during the hotter hours of the day. There is an outdoor shower right beside it.



The back porch at the entrance of the house is ideal if the breeze is too strong on the other side or for watching the sunset behind an area planted with coconut palm trees.





This is just one view of the wonderful pink sanded beach right in front of the house.



Underwater rocks and a reef are located directly in front of the property, which make the place ideal for snorkelling or diving (diving equipment including oxygen bottles may be obtained from Sands Diving Store in Governor's Harbour). Should the breeze at the Atlantic side be too strong and the sea too rough, one of the nicest Caribbean side bays, Alabaster Bay, is only a five minutes drive away. Instead of watching the sunset in front of a nice palm scenario from the Villa, you may prefer to drive there and watch the sun setting directly on the horizon of the Caribbean Sea.
