This is a great place to visit the Historic Triangle. Stay in the heart of Williamsburg only two miles from Historic Colonial Williamsburg. This complex is on a 256 acres of rolling Willamsburg, Virginia meadows and forest. Built in 1735 by Richaed Taliafero is Powhathan Plantation. Its owner was George Wythe, a signer of the Declaration of Independenceand and founder of the country's first law school at the College of William and Mary. Today as you enter the complex you immediately notice the restored Manor House. It is a historic landmark and an excellent example of Early Georgian architecture.
