Pet friendly Waterfront guest cabin within 2 hours of Toronto at $80 a day or $375 to $425 a week. This cozy little 1 bedroom cabin can sleep up to 5 and is located on beautiful Catchacoma Lake which is part of 5 lakes that connect and are known for clean weed free water that is great for swimming, boating and water sports. Your cabin rental includes use of our Hot tub a Canoe, Paddle boat, Kayak and a non-motorized boat as well as docking for your personal watercraft if needed.



The waterfront has a gradual shallow entry with a sandy bottom which is good for kids. The dock is large and has good depth for swimming and is a nice area to hang out and enjoying the view or fish for Bass while enjoying a cold drink. For evenings there is a spot for a fire right on the dock or use the campfire located by the lake and enjoy the stars.



These lakes are located in the Kawartha's which is a great area to explore with its granite outcroppings and series of canoe routes. We are located within 2 min. of the extensive Five Point Trail System, were you can ATV from your front door or go for a hike in the woods. Bring your GPS to Explore Canada's capital scavenger hunting/Geo-cashing area and The small heated 1 bedroom guest cabin has a combo living room/kitchen area and a small bedroom. The kitchenette is equipped with household items needed for cooking. It includes a 2 burner cook-top, microwave, electric frying pan, toaster oven, kettle, crock pot and your personal BBQ sitting just outside the cabin. The cabin comes with satellite T.V., DVD & VHS player, stereo with CD player and mp3 hookup (note: don't forget to bring your charger) and wireless Internet is available.



The bedroom has a double bed with a single bunk on top and the living-room has a futon couch which becomes a double bed. The cabin has a separate private shower and a 2 piece bathroom with an environmentally friendly Sunmar composting toilet



Baldwin Bay Marina is within 2 minutes which is handy for supplies or just paddling over for a fantastic Kawartha Dairy ice cream cone or a bag of candy for the kids. They also rent boats (note: make reservations in advance.)



We are Located about 30 min from Bobcaygeon and Buckhorn and 15 min to Gooderham. The cabin is easy to find as it is within minutes of a county road and is located in a small community of about 10 local cottagers who access their cottages using a mutual driveway and our property is the 2 cottage from this dead end. The cottagers in this neighborhood are very active and friendly as a community and love their cottage life where family and friends come together and have a great time. We even consider allowing the family pet to come on your vacation free of charge just send us details of your pets.
