Set in green and lightly wooded countryside between the two picturesque villages of Gracay and Genouilly, La Coudre is a traditional oak- beamed Longere ( a French long house) that has been adapted into two separate self catering gites by owners Debbie and Richard McGarry.%0d%0aBoth gites have been redecorated very recently. The Longere is the larger of the two with accommodation for up to 10 plus cot for a baby. %0d%0aThe Petit Longere has accommodation for up to 5 plus cot for a baby and is in a stunning, beamed full height living room with stairs up to your own minstrels’ gallery. Both gites have private dining patios outside with BBQ and each has its own garden. %0d%0aIn addition there is the large swimming pool to share, set in a sunny walled area with sun terrace. Across the way is a separate games room with full size snooker table, table tennis, table football, Karaoke equipment and a self stocking bar. %0d%0aThere is parking for several cars in the big gated front courtyard. Other facilities include a shared utility room, with washing machine and tumble drier, use of several bicycles, garden swings and toys. A three kilometres drive takes you to a non fee tennis court and of course, the area abounds in rich history, sensational chateaux, medieval cities, riversides, fishing lakes and many other attractions.%0d%0a
