Aprilci is situated at a picturesque plain at the highest part of the foot of the Balkan Mountains.

The town is located 506 meters up sea level. The climate is temperate-continental, with a typical open winter and breezy summer. The combination of fresh air, thick forest and lack of industrial buildings around the area make the town perfect place for recreation and tourism.
