In the twelfth century this land was named Tauria: the woods had a large number of wild bulls. The name was being changed up to the local name of Atouguia.

Later a giant whale arrived on the seacoast and then the local village began to be named Atouguia da Baleia.



Beyond history, this area is internationally well-known for its beaches (Baleal, Supertubos, among other ones), for water sports and also for the excellent golfs in a radius of 15 kilometers.



With comfortable facilities and a peaceful atmosphere, it offers you 7 bedrooms, 6 of them with a private bathroom.

From the North you take A1, exit at Leiria, take A8 towards ?bidos and then, you take the traffic signal IP6 Peniche.
