Highgate Park is a much sought after Gated Community. Located in a peaceful area set amongst beautiful rolling countryside with an abundance of pine trees and orange groves adding to the natural beauty of the area. It is ideally situated on the US Highway 27, just minutes south of the US Highway 192 and only a short drive from shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and golf courses and 12 minutes drive to Disney World.

Within a 5 minute drive you will find a Publix, a Walmart and just a little further, Winn- Dixie. There are also many restaurants within a short drive, including Applebees, Sante Fe Cattlehouse and many more,

The renowned Manny's Chophouse which is absolutely unmissable, is around a 20 minute drive.

If you decide to stay home one night you could get a take away from the local restaurants that will deliver to the villa.

Our home is just lovely. Fully air conditioned for those hot summer days. Arkvilla is stylishly furnished to a very high standard and comes fully-equipped with everything you need for the perfect holiday

The formal lounge is elegantly furnished in golds & creams. As you walk through the front door you are uplifed and know your vacation has begun.

The large open plan family room is also furnished to make you feel relaxed and at home. The family room leads to the lanai and pool area.

Free wireless Internet and telephone calls to 60 countries, including the UK (landline only) and an Ipod dock.

The luxury kitchen is fully-equipped with a full-size oven and hob, refrigerator/freezer with ice- maker, built-in microwave oven, dishwasher, waste disposal and telephone

Adjoining the kitchen is a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

2 master suites, with en suite facilities (ideal for 2 families) both with flat screen cable tv.

Patio doors lead out from the family room and master bedroom to the fully screened, extended deck area with heated pool. The pool is serviced and cleaned weekly, and arrangements can be made to have the pool heated during the cooler months.

Sun loungers, patio chairs, and table are provided along with a selection of inflatables.

The fantastic Games Room has 8 foot Pool Table, 7 foot Air Hockey table, Darts Board, Tennis and Badminton rackets for use on the on site Tennis court.

There is also free use of the on-site leisure facilities including tennis courts and children’s play area.

Our vacation home sleeps up to 8 people. The spacious master bedroom, with en-suite, has a queen size bed, large walk-in closet, cable TV, radio alarm clock and hairdryer. The fabulous en-suite bathroom has his and hers inset hand basins, large walk in shower, corner bath and separate toilet.

The second bedroom also has en suite facilities with queen size bed and large closet with plenty of hanging space and cable tv. There are 2 further twin bedded rooms with large closets.

A third full size family bathroom has basin, bath, shower, toilet and hairdryer. All bed linens and towels are provided.

For a fantastic family holiday all of the major attractions including Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios, Wet ‘n ‘Wild and Cypress Gardens are within 30 minutes drive. The Gulf and Atlantic Ocean Coasts and Kennedy Space Centre are only an hour and a half away.

• International Drive, Sea World, Universal Studios, etc. 20 minutes.
• Orlando International Airport 30 minutes.
• Cape Canaveral and Space Centre 75 minutes.
• Tampa and Gulf Coast 90 minutes.
For the golf enthusiast there is a Links style 18-hole golf course (Champions Gate - designed by Greg Norman) just ten minutes drive away. The property
is also within 15 minutes of another six good courses.

Our home is fully licensed/inspected by the state of Florida and regulated by the Hotels/accommodation division of Polk County (Please be aware: homes that offer low rates may not be licensed or regulated and should they be inspected during your stay may lead to eviction.)

Arkvilla is Fantasmic

Arkvilla is a very beautiful, well appointed villa located within a gated community, only a 12-15 minute drive to the iconic Archway at WDW. There are several grocery stores, supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants very close by.

As soon as you walk through the front door you can see how much love, care, pride and time has been devoted by the owners (Sandra & Jai) into making this a home from home. All the furniture / furnishings have obviously been chosen with great care and are well looked after. The villa is very well equipped with lots of those ‘little extras’ you don’t often find in rental homes (a couple that spring to mind are egg cups and sealable food containers). There are even towel hooks and hair-dryers in the bathrooms. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable, with plenty of good quality linens and towels etc.

The Games Room complete with Xbox, air hockey, pool table – to name but a few – is a fantastic feature. Sandra & Jai also provide a couple of bicycles for guests to use. If you have younger children you also have the use of a stroller, car seat, travel cot and high chair. If you fancy a day ‘at home’ there’s also lots of DVD’s, Xbox games and family board games to keep the family occupied.

The private (heated) swimming pool (with removable safety fence if you have young children) is a welcome way to relax after a day at the parks or as a ‘down day’ and several pool toys were available. There are also a couple of safety vests provided for those with youngsters learning to swim. The pool / decking / patio area is a very good size with plenty of comfortable chairs and loungers. Good quality pool towels are provided (another bonus as it saves you room in your luggage for all the souvenirs you will want to buy).

Sandra is very helpful & friendly, nothing is too much trouble and she answered all my questions / queries promptly. And believe me, I had quite a few! In fact I feel like I’ve made a new friend. We have stayed in many wonderful villas over the last 20 years and I can honestly say I wish I had found Arkvilla (and Sandra) sooner! Thank-you for sharing your home.

A Wonderful Christmas trip

So we had a wonderful time spending Christmas at Ark villa. The community was all decked out for Christmas and a Christmas tree was waiting for us when we arrived at the villa. We stayed as a party of 9 and had plenty of space, the villa was huge. We loved the high standards everything was spotless and the villa had so many facilities it was literally everything we needed. The older kids loved the xbox and the pool and games room too they would of stayed in the villa the whole time if they could. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms spacious. The pool area was large and the pool heating made it very comfortable to swim in December although we did have very warm weather for the most part. The villa owner was very pleasant and helpful and the management company attended to any issues promptly which was great. We will definitely be back :)

This was the 3rd time we have stayed at the Arkvilla and we have stayed in many other villas in Orlando and the Arkvilla is by far the best one we have stayed in and it is as exactly as it is described on the web site with a lovely owner who will help you in any way she can and we are looking forward to booking our 4th visit

“Practically Perfect In Everyway”

We stayed in Sandra’s villa with our two boys and parents, I say villa when what I really mean is home from home. It has everything you could ever want and is in a very secure spot with coded gates to get in and even the gate to walk through is coded.

The security car sits on the end of the lane most mornings and late evening and makes you feel very safe and secure. It’s close enough to all the parks and shopping places but far enough out to take you away from it all if you need to.

The pool was a huge hit with our boys, my very water shy little boy gained so much confidence is the water and our oldest was swimming with just a float or with my hand under his tummy. So many happy perfect memories made in Arkvilla.

I have stayed in two other villas on previous holidays and I panicked the whole time till we got to there Sandra totally put me at ease about staying in her home was their always to answers every question I had and I have to say this is the one booking we made I never gave a 2nd thought to,

I knew it was going to be just how it looked on the pictures. In Fact it’s better the pictures. It’s Sandra’s attention to detail and her little touches that make your stay a pleasure.

5***** Home from Home- plus more!!

Our family of 6 adults stayed at Arkvilla for 2 weeks in April. Well, what can I say? The whole experience was straight forward and amazing. Sandra, the owner of the villa, was so approachable and helpful from start to finish. She was always happy to give advice by telephone and replied to my emails promptly. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she genuinely wanted you to enjoy her villa and the whole experience in Florida. She has so much knowledge about the area.

The booking process and payment was easy and the information pack, which was emailed prior to our holiday, included comprehensible directions to the villa, villa information and recommendations on where to eat. The villa is in a beautiful, quiet gated community, approximately 20 minute drive from Disneyworld with local supermarkets/shops within a 2-5 minute drive. On entering the villa, it is obvious that Sandra and her family take great pride in the property.

It is immaculate, spotlessly clean, very well equipped and so homely and the pool is a wonderful bonus, especially on those hot days. The furniture and beds are so comfortable and the free wifi very helpful. Sandra even phoned the villa the day after our arrival to make sure all was fine and that we had everything that we needed. All instructions for the villa and it’s equipment can be found in the sitting room.

A kind neighbour (I presume as we never saw them) even put our rubbish bins by the roadside both weeks that we stayed at Arkvilla and returned them when emptied. The restaurants recommended by Sandra were excellent. Our favourites were Texas Roadhouse, Mannys Chophouse, the Cheesecake Factory and The Olive Garden Italian Restaurant (their free breadsticks are more like small baguettes-gorgeous!!)

We would certainly recommend staying at Arkvilla and hope to return in the near future. We would like to thank Sandra and her family for helping make our family holiday so memorable and allowing us to share their wonderful villa.
