Cabin | Entire home/apt | 1 Bedroom(s) | 1 Bathroom(s) | For 5 Person(s)

The Space
This is a completely renovated cabin with new flooring, kitchen, bathroom, furniture, linens, and appliances. The location is a short walk from the ocean and some of the best driving beach access in the region. The cabin sleeps 4 guests comfortably with 1 bedroom and a very comfortable sleep sofa in the living room. Additionally, there is a roll out sleeping pad. The open floor plan, with the living room, dining area, and kitchen connected, brings people together. When it is sunny, the afternoon sun streams through two large picture windows and lights up the whole room beautifully!

Living Room Area
The living room is open to the kitchen and kitchen nook. A gallery wall, hand painted coffee table, cozy blankets, comfy sofa, and plush rug make this the spot for games, lively conversations, and just hanging out.

Kitchen
Although this is not a large cabin there is a fully stocked kitchen with brand new quartz countertops and new appliances including a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, oven and stovetop. There are ample dishes, glassware, pots/pans, knives and small appliances such as a coffee pot, french press, manual coffee grinder, blender, and toaster. The dining area easily seats 5 people in a vintage, chalk painted, breakfast nook.

Bedroom
The bedroom features a queen size bed with a quality mattress, new linens and a simple craftsmen dresser. There is an attached reading light on the bed frame as well as a hand made, light ceiling fixture for additional lighting. There is no hanging closet space.

Bathroom
Adjacent to the bedroom is a newly apportioned bathroom with a glass shower surround (it is petite but surprisingly roomy), vanity, mirror, and modern faucets. Plenty of bath and beach towels are found here as well.

Extras:
Full size stackable washer/dryer
Numerous hooks mounted both inside and outside for jackets, sweatshirt and towels
Two burner gas BBQ grill
Above ground fire-pit
Beautiful heated outside shower in the back of the cabin - perfect for washing off the sand and salt of a day at the beach and warming up
Outside Environment:
There is a covered front porch that greets you as you walk in. Also, on the west side of the cabin there is a new fire pit with more driftwood and outdoor seating. Bring the marshmallows and enjoy relaxed conversation – guitar optional.

Excellent Beach Access:
Simply cross Highway 105 and head west on Grayland Beach Road (Cranberry Road to the East of Highway 105) – it is a short walk along cabins, and coastal forest. This is also one of the best access roads in the area to drive onto the beach (always be aware of tides and sand conditions). Additionally, during the clamming season, you are in a top notch area for razor clams!

Going for a Walk in the Cranberry Bogs:
You are in the heart of Cranberry country. The fields in this area have been continuously cultivated since 1919. The numerous sleepy farm roads immediately adjacent to the property are wonderful for walks and taking in the beautiful scenery. The wood shake farm houses, barns and sheds have hardly changed over the decades and only add to the beauty. Or you can head west to the sea!

Expectations:
This is our family cabin and we welcome anyone seeking a relaxed atmosphere and spending time together. This is NOT a party cabin. If you would like to party, please consider other accommodations which would welcome your needs. We want to make sure our location is a good match for you and for us, and we desire to respect our neighbors and the surrounding community.

Important Location Information:
Our cabin is located next to a house and there is also a 1973’ mobile home directly behind it. (approx. 25 feet away) While there are many beautiful trees and wild salmonberry plants on the property, the yard is still under construction. (we are hoping to start on the driftwood fence and replant grass soon). Our neighbors have been truly gracious to us during two years of remodeling, and we desire to show them the same kindness- please help us by refraining from loud noise especially at night. You also might notice a little traffic in front of the cabin as we are across the street from the post office, but it is minimal. Overwhelmingly, you will find a quiet cabin in a quiet neighborhood.
